Sony hasn’t been too kind to companies making side plates for the PlayStation 5, but what about design studios with the skills to add a large side window? Studio FR falls under the latter and it definitely requires more skill than just simply unscrewing the plates. Put simply, the entire video game console was disassembled before the face plate sliced open with a dremel tool. Read more for a video and additional information.

Once the window frame was carved, Studio FR started the painting and engraving process. What would a side window mod be like without some lighting when gaming in the dark?
